Requesting a Qualification Deferral
If you need to pause your studies or payments for a short period, you can apply for a qualification deferral.
How deferrals work
A deferral allows you to temporarily place your course and/or payments on hold for up to 25% of your total course timeline. For example, a 12-month qualification allows a maximum 3-month deferral.
Deferrals are not available for courses with a total duration of 6 months or less. Deferral fees apply at $30 per month, payable before your deferral takes effect.
You can choose one of the following deferral periods:
-
1 Month – $30
-
2 Months – $60
-
3 Months – $90
If you require additional time beyond the maximum deferral period, you will need to apply for a course extension instead.
