Where do I start my new course?
Welcome, Your First Week at Onfit
Congratulations on enrolling. We're genuinely excited to have you. Here's a quick guide to setting yourself up for success in your first week.
Step 1, log in to your Learner Portal. You'll have received your login details by email. If you can't find the email, check your spam or junk folder, then reach out to our Admin team if it still hasn't arrived.
Step 2, read the Overview. The Overview tab in your portal is your map. It explains the structure of your course, the order to work through topics, and what's expected at each stage. Spend 20 minutes here before diving into content. It saves confusion later.
Step 3, download your course materials. Under the Resources tab, all lesson content is available as PDFs. You can read these online or download them for offline study.
Step 4, plan your study schedule. Cert III in Fitness is a substantial qualification. Most students spend 6 to 12 months working through it. Set a regular study cadence early. Even a few hours per week is more effective than cramming.
Step 5, plan your Industry Skills early. Industry Skills require a qualified supervisor at a fitness facility. It can take time to organise. Start thinking about where you'll do your placement in your first month, not your final month. We have a list of facilities that have supported students before, so reach out if you need ideas.
Step 6, reach out when you need to. Our Education and Admin teams are available 7 days a week. There's no question too big, silly, or small. If you're stuck, ask. We'd rather help early than have you struggle in silence.
